I’m glad I read it, but I’m hoping the next book picks up the pace.
And they express their thoughts, often, and will discuss and debate with each other. I do, however, have no recollection of his narrative style whatsoever.
There is no depth to any of them except the author’s own depth. I ppreludio saw a problem with reading them this way and there is no specific reason for reading then in timeline order.

Title: Prelude to Foundation
In ‘Foundation’ we get only a glimpse of Trantor in its prime, whereas the entirety of this book takes place there and we get to see quite a bit more of Trantor. Wikipedia in English None.
I had read the Foundation Trilogy when I was in high school 60 some years ago and remembered I though it was very good. Love this series, loved this book.

Something made me think of Isaac Asimov. Hari Seldon has come to Trantor to deliver his paper on psychohistory, his remarkable theory of prediction. Again, a fun read, but doesn’t flow too well into Foundation. As I get older, I start to think of future generations, humanity in general and, hopefully, try be a little less selfish. Here in the great multidomed capital of the Galactic Empire, fondaione billion people have created a civilization of unimaginable technological and cultural complexity.
I really enjoyed this book. The most important part of this book was the authors note at the front where Asimov said he only wrote this because of fan and publisher pressure Fortunately Asimov’s writing style and lack of reference to specific technology doesn’t make the first trilogy seem dated.
As far as sci-fi adventuring goes, this is fobdazione notch. Foundation Perludio third Foundation novel, comprised of 5 stories fodnazione published between A good read, but frustrating in the inconsistencies between this post-series prequel and the rest of the series. Rick Grant rated it did not like it Mar 24, I think I will try one of the Foundation Trilogy books to see if they now seem to me to be as awful this is.
