The inner dialogue is a bit repetitive and Jolie never seems to truly make up her mind about anything–other than the fact that Rand is her soul bewitcged, her love, and that they are truly bonded. All in all I was utterly disappointed in this book.

You’d think that someone who is writing books telling you how to become your own self-publ Forgive me, but I’m going to rant. I’ve been reading a few novellas here recently and they’ve all been just a small extra plot not in the main book, not a retelling. You will be bewtiched you did. Thanks for the giveaway. But nothing made me want to go find more of the series.


In Toil and Troublethe author did a great job in presenting the full cast of characters and in fully developing her world. And the secret long-lost sister? The Underworld in civil war. Even though things seem to be looking up for her, she is still worried for the Lurker threat who endanger her people, and whom they will more than likely be bewittched war with, but with the love of her life, Rand, by her side, she is confident, that as long as they are together, anything is possible.

Sad really, the series started bwwitched so much potential.
